So..they are just basically non Dinosaur Fossil Pokemons?
>>58835817I mean, Fossil Pokemon are named such because they are dated by millions of years.Hisuian Pokemon are based on those that died out to do change of habitat, overhunting or bred into a modern species instead.
No, they aren't even extinct. SV's entry for H-Quilfish>It lives just offshore in cold parts of the world. Its poisonous spikes are thicker and shorter than those of other regions’ Qwilfish. SV's entry for White-Basculin>They live in frigid seas, forming schools and sharing food among themselves. When the time comes, they return to the river they were born in. ZA's entry for H-Avalugg>With its icy jaw, it swiftly plows across snowy fields and mountains, in search of nutritious vegetables people have stored in the snow. They're just variations of Pokemon that were first discovered in Hisui, that's it. You'd think Perrin walking around would prove they're just uncommon at the absolute worst and yet here we are. There's no basis or official confirmation of any of them going extinct besides maybe Electrode, who probably isn't even organic anyways. The majority of Huisuian forms are just Pokemon adapting to different environment (Lilligant, Goodra, Sneasel, Decidueye) or getting fucked up by Mt. Coronet's nonsense (Typhlosion, whatever the hell is going on with Zoroark).Hisui wasn't like a million years ago, it was a few hundred tops, you guys gotta use your heads.
