I really hope Gen 10 isn't a cross gen game with Switch 1. It probably will be knowing how slow Gamefreak has been to move onto whatever the new console is but I don't want this game being held back by decrepit old hardware. Switch 2 really is a significant upgrade tech wise, would be a shame to have to wait even longer for a game that properly utilizes it.

Nintendo developers got Switch 2 dev kits in 2022 which is also when gen 10 started development. And you know, it's written in the tera leak that it's next-gen only.

Pretty sure the leaks implied it's exclusive to the Switch 2 based on the phrasing. On the other hand shit like Project Seed was incredibly vague about the target system but that wasn't even properly started yet so that shouldn't be an indication of anything.

I fully expect TPCi will diversify its software releases over the next few years. They are probably as hesitant with the Switch 2 as they were with the Switch 1, which is likely why ZA was considered for both. You absolutely will not be getting gen 10 on Switch 1, but if there ever was a time to release a classic collection w/ HOME support, it's now. Also Champions is going to be on Switch 1 still.
