>>58849398I can get thinking it's a downgrade from HGSS. It isn't, but given both games have distinct art styles with advantages and disadvantages it's a subjective thing. But DP is just the standard FLRG art stye with zero aesthetic flair, and Platinum mostly just slaps some much needed effects on it and calls it a day which is technically and upgrade but I wouldn't call it anything aside from mediocre.>>58849318I'm really glad the Dragon Quest remakes leaned more into the DS Pokemon/Xenogears angle than the fuckass bloom from Ocotopath and the Live A Live remake because Yuji Horii said the bloom was too fucking much.
