Basically the point is for Leafeon to ramp into mega pinsir, but leafeon with a leaf cape is also a good threat on its own. Sometimes you start with Mega Pinsir or Heracross which isnt the most amazing thing but both with a leaf cape have very good survivability.

I started off running 2 Wills but decided to cut one for a second copycat for more consistency. Leaf always caught people and helped immensely too. It has a strong matchup against Mega Absol because it can simply one shot it and a lot of people who play the deck are unironically stupid.

EnteiZard is a fucking pain in the dick. Not only can it ramp up pretty fast, but it just gets bonus damage on everything in my deck. In theory, Mega Blaziken should be a giant pain in the ass as well, but I don't see it as much. Also, they tend to go into Mega Chicken immediately, while Entei-Zard has the two-point dog tank the early game to stave me off for a while.

As with a lot of decks probably Suicune Greninja since you really have to be on pace to have a good fighting chance against it. Oricorio variants of Jolteon EX can be fairly threatening too hence the Heracross, who served me well in that regard. Mega Blaziken is probably the most dangerous one outright just because of how fast it can take off compared to you and the fact it can essentially one shot a capeless leafeon. Mega Altaria can be obnoxious even though I won against it more than I lost, but partially due to user error on my opponent's part, though one game my heracross was literally asleep for 12 fucking coinflips so perhaps it evens out

For this solo battle in particular, the Entei is just filler. If you don't go second and don't have Blaziken going by your second turn you're dead anyway.

Have you ever try to reach master?. All meta decks only need TWO (2) energies to drop a nuke on you or cripple your active pokemon enough to later use cyrus and win the game.
Now with Megas, even if you're incredibly lucky and summon Hydrengon by turn two, 130 isn't enough to beat these 180-220 HP monsters. Man you cant even kill suicune with that!!! And on the next turn he will be vaporized and you will be completely vulnerable.

I can't guarantee this is the absolute truth, but it helped me reach Master rank on 4 different accounts when before it took me all month to get there on just one (my main).

For the Mega Latios promo I did full 'zard line + houndoom line + Serena x2. The only threat in the battle is fucking Swanna. I'm sure a deck with 12 random cards + Koko or Magnezone sweeps.
For the rest of the solo battles I'm sure either Venusaur or Lop + Zone will work. CB doesn't have a lot of generic useful Trainers like Mega Rising did so take advantage of buttplug and nerd to fill up slots.

I'd say the best way to farm shinedust is to do the drop ex event. You get 20% chance of the same ex each battle and each repeat copy gets you 720 dust. Fair you need to get 35 ex for 25k but it's better than literally everything else. At least it helped me get from 10 to 25k.
