my biggest problem with ZA was the forced meme side characters. Corbeau and Canari are not interesting characters at all, but the game forces you to interact with them and listen to NPCs fawn over them endlessly. Emma, Mable, Jacinthe, and Canary's grandpa were interesting characters that got about half the screentime. I would've also like to see splinters of team flare run by the other scientists that weren't offered a paperclip deal like Mable. Grisham was alright but was set up as a rival shortly before being beaten easily. Jacinthe is more analogous to Corbeau than Canari is in terms of how they are portrayed in the story because she has an obsession with the player too. The only reason she isn't treated like Corbeau is because boys don't like her compared the other female characters.
