SpongeBob memes still get shared around pretty often, and even tho that show is still going, nobody really cares about anything past the first 3 seasons yet there's still tons of fans for those seasons alone. Communities can last awhileAs for pony town, I'd argue it's less of a brony game. Yes, it was made for bronys, but it ended up reaching a wider audience of people. also thanks to the customization in that game. you dont have to make just pony characters, there's options for dogs and cats and other critters. it's pretty neat and can appeal to anyone
