Why is the music in these games so fucking ass?
I really enjoyed the music, the only issue is all the areas had the same melody, just changed up.The dynamic music concept is a good idea, but the overall melody drags on.At least it had more variety than ZA.

I loathe the whole “each province has the same leitmotif and they seemlessly transition” schtick. It just makes the overworld, wild battle themes and the towns sound the same since they’re all remixes of the same song like a shitty Yoshi game. The only exceptions are the three big cities which have distinct songs and there are some good battle themes. But I haven’t been a fan of the heavy use of leitmotifs in the Switch era. Just seems like they’re trying to copy Toby Fox poorly
