Did Platinum really need these two? Out of all the changes it does compared to DP, this one felt unnecessary.Just finished Stark Mountain (and thus the entire Team Galactic storyline). And these two did nothing but slow you down. There isn't even a fight in the end. Just a lame cutscene.

>>58858081Never knew about Rotom and Charon, but after some research, I found out that this piece of lore can only be found in the secret Rotom room, which is locked behind an event item. I'll eventually get there with Wiimmfi, but I think that hiding Rotom's forms like this was a mistake. Almost everyone will just miss it, and they had the opportunity to make you fight against Charon using the Rotom forms. And when you take that sliver of lore away, he's useless.As for Looker, they did reuse him and I think that he really became a nice character in XY (I just read that his Croagunk, the one I saw in Stark Mountain, is fucking dead, wtf???). But in Platinum, he was boring and had no real impact at all. No Looker, I don't need you to tell me where HM Fly is... He literally had the potential to team with you and fight Team Galactic. His character did get better but in Pt, he's just wasted potential.
