The Battle Chateau is essentially gym leaders rematches (you can rematch E4 and Champion too but they are weaker there so I don't see any point imo). And in BW, you can't rematch the gym leaders (unlike B2W2 with the PWT). The issue with the Chateau is that all the fights are piss easy. I know Pokemon games are mostly easy, but XY is considered the easiest and this is no exception. Gym leaders only have TWO mons, E4 has only THREE, and Diantha doesn't even uses her own full team. In theory the Battle Chateau is a nice idea, but in practice it kinda sucks.However I don't get your point with "Battle Institute" and "Pokemon League Rematches" because the former was introduced in BW, and in BW the E4 gets stronger, and you actually get to fight Alder.
