It's a great instant nuke but it's long term play is non-existent without a strong backline support team.Blaziken on the other hand requires no additional support and the added HP bulk lets it tank just about every move in the game and get the revenge kill to win the game. I lose to more Blaziken decks simply due to the higher HP and the fact that Blaziken isn't their front line fighter, they typically rely on heatmor or Entei to get a KO first and force the opponent to put their EX out in front to deal with it so they can get the first attack and stay at full health. The decks are similar yes, but they play drastically differently. Heatmor is a far stronger early game mon with it's ability to take out bench pokemon in 2 hits and completely ignore the early game active fodder without having to over extend. Whereas Hydregion has to go all in to KO and often leaves itself unable to defend as Absol just doesn't have a strong closing presence

It's pulling your target and grinding. It is legit easier to just Share yourself a good team, auto everything over the course of a week while you're watching movies or working or some shit, and then blow all your Gems on multis until you have the pack points. You might also get lucky and just hard pull it, but the odds of getting a specific 2 star card are fucking atrocious. Right now, I have an alt with a little over 2k Gems ready for Fantastic Parade and an alt with over 3k Gems for the next Deluxe pack. I'm currently grinding out the alt for the end of February pack.

Indeedee I can see an argument against but even then, a free potion every turn is still really good even if it's doing nothing. Same with Absol's support cucking, and the fact that its faster than Darkrai on average. Granted, I don't think Mega Absol is even designed well but its clear why its so good on dark decks, because besides like Darkrai specifically on Darkzone or like, jellyfish+barb theres nothing else that works great with Hydregion (And now Obstagoon). Call this malding but GA Greninja is absolutely an mistake of a card. Especially how strong it got retroactively nearly on almost every expansion since STS. At least with Crobat there's conditions to be met and TL Arceus isn't as particularly meta as it used to now that Altaria exists even with playground. So that concept was balanced with that in mind. Greninja just does whatever it wants, now even better than ever because the last 2 expansions decided to give it insane amount of consistency.
