>>58869178none because we know about their existence now and they also don't want to acknowledge the leaks yeah we got those mons anyways but those weren't leaked to us in fact if it wasn't for the leaks we would have never known they were originally in those games to begin with. Game Freak makes mons with secrecy if the secrets out on a design i.e they reveal a scrapped pokemon it means that they have 0 plans to use it. That's why Mega Raichu looks nothing like Gorochu even though it would've been the perfect way to introduce the design. The second it becomes public knowledge, its no good in Game Freak's eyes so all these designs and concepts are now in the gutter.

Now I'm not going to rule out new Pokemon, especially ones based on the SpaceWorld Gen 2 ones, but that's neither confirmed nor likely.

Ninetales is called キュウコン Kyuukon from kyuu (9) and the aforementioned kon. It's also from 九尾の狐 (kyuubi no kitsune; nine-tailed fox), a youkai from Japanese legend. Mikon is from 三つ (mittsu; 3 (of something)) and kon.3 > 6 > 9And let's not forget Vulpix is vulpine + six and Ninetales is Nine + Tails + Tales (as in legends).
