If you want to pay attention the catch circles have tones of green, yellow and red that you can manipulate with berries, ball type and good throws. The closest to green is the circle the easier the catch.

The other anon is feeding you a lot of shit. Dynamax Ho-Oh (the one I presume you're talking about) is a tier 5 max raid, and will probably be quite a hard one.

Both are entirely possible. If the other 3 guys have good counters, they will be able to carry you, but if they are in a similar situation as you (which remote raiders usually are), you will fuck them over. Also, I've seen people just leave these raid max battle lobbies if you're low level (because they know you have bad counters).

It shows that (x/3) because lobbies are of 4 people max, and the host counts as one. Also, only Gigantamax battles take more than 4 people, Tier 5 Dynamax battles (like Ho-Oh) and every other Tiered Max battle will group you up with 3 other players and that's that. To illustrate a bit, Dynamax Lugia was very hard if you had a bad team, and it might have been one of the hardest content pieces in the game because you couldn't just rely on having 200 people helping you.

If PvP matters to you look you might want to keep some pokemon that are good in that around, especially if they have good PvP IVs (low attack, high def, high hp). Mega evolving gets you candy so Pokemon with megas are good to keep. Though definitely keep your highest CP stuff at the moment for raids and stuff

For dynamax you only care about attack for your attackers and defense and health for your tanks. Arguably not even health matters since shield HP is fixed and thus only scales with defense.
Healers care about health, but healing is pretty much useless. Tanking is way more effective. Maybe healing would have been good if it also healed mons that aren't out during the max phase, but as it stands now you only want tanks and damage.

It's a good neutral damage dealer, but that doesn't mean anything when there are very good mons that deal much higher damage while also having stab.
