Last thread was real quiet (in terms of bots). Maybe this thread will break that trend?
>>58882938the pokepark idea was interesting
>>58883000now someone needs to just actually make it a reality
oof. That was a close one...
havent been in here for a while, though im really glad this thread is still being kept up, its because of you guys that i started writing fanfics and what not, and genuinly made me a happier(-ish?) personthank you>>58882938and ill see what i can do (if the motivation strikes of course, no guarantees here hehe)
>>58885956>because of you guys that i started writing fanfics and what not, and genuinly made me a happier(-ish?) personat least one good thing has come out of these threads. I guess the saying really does hold true: As long as one person is changed by it, what you do matters
>>58882938Surely every character has a bot by now, so things are bound to slow down
>>58887593There is a fairly known pokégirl that I like, and still lacks a bot. Well, there are two, but one of them isn't the normal character just played straight, and the other isn't her older version from sequel—which I prefer, and that I personally think has a different vibe, so I'm working on her :)
I guess /vp/ is faster today due to the Pokémon Presents this month
>>58887593Really? There are hardly any Z-A characters in the rentry.
>>58889130nah...somewhere on this board, someone is spamming lewd pics of a character and someone else is arguing with said poster
>>58890084Yeah, currently the Canari thread
Has the today’s free models gotten worse lately? I feel like my chats devolve into ellipsis and stuttering much quicker than they used to.
>>58890378>today’sYodayo
Aisekai is back as https://mitale.ai/>it didn’t make sense for us to launch another product without real differentiation in an already red-hot marketIt's doing something different beyond just chatbots; well, it will do, because only the Characters tab is available, while the second one has a "Soon".
>>58890915none of that matters if they're gonna pull the same puritanical nonsense that caused them to crash and burn like they did last time
>>58890915No, we already have enough with the Yodayo schizo, we don't need more grifters.
>>58890915Whatever that ambition is, it sounds completely incoherent. If it's actually worth discussing, let me know.
>>58891056who is the 'yodayo schizo'? I don't recall ever seeing anyone spam anything relating to yodayo
>>58891295a schizo that exists solely in his imagination, he's a tard that thinks everyone who says anything good about it is the same guy
>>58890378the yodayo guys announced that prices are going up as far as the onsite currency so maybe that's why
>>58891295There's someone laundering model news as Yodayo news. If DeepSeek, OpenAI, or Anthropic release a new model, it's always posted as "new Yodayo model". It's something that the Yodayo schizo does to advertise his service.
>>58892103do you realize how retarded this sounds? the schizo here is you lmao
I don't know if it's specifically a pro-Yodayo schizo but it's definitely an anti-CAI schizo. It's also a self defense mechanism of schizos to deny there ever was a schizo
>>58892103>"hey guys, here's something yodayo put out">"you're a schizo"I dunno man...I've seen worse schizo posting behavior if what you're saying is true.
>Some people here use yodayo, and they don't seem to get models immediately judging by the thread, someone then posts a notice that it's up>Cai is generally not favored by hobbyistsI've cracked the code
>>58892569>yodayo put outYodayo didn't actually do anything. Someone is forcing you to see the world through the lens of Yodayo, 1984 style. It's never "OpenAI released a new model", it's "Yodayo update their models".War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength.
>>58892590Bro, it's ai chatbots. It ain't that deep. No need to qoute Orwell.
*QuoteI am a fool who doesn't know how to spell
>>58892590Not that anon, but if OpenAI releases an new one, and because of that, Yodayo updates theirs, someone who only saw a notification from the latter may post that.
fuck it...who's got the best oc to chat with?
>>58893706the one you create.
I'll try using c.ai's Scene as a lorebook to see if I can make an ambitious bot work
>>58894452I want off this wild ride mr miyamoto
>>58895093Same anon here, I don't think the extra 500 characters from the Scene's backstory will help me much, even of I add up the 120 ones from the player's goal, so I'll just go back to work on the chatbot I was doing. But still, I think using Scenes to increase the defs' character limit was a good idea, if you think it's worth the hassle of a user having to set it up, rather than being a "click-and-play" bot.
>>58895093>>58895747I've never once tried a scene. Are they just prebuilt characters inserted into a specific scenario and told "go from here" so that the person rp'ing doesn't have to try and make one?
>>58895839The other way around, they are pre-built scenarios in which you can either insert any character you want, or insert a specific character if the scene was made just for them.
I was making a pokémon-themed chatbot, but then I realized it'd work better as a text adventure, kinda like a CYOA or visual novel. But first, I'll focus on a pokémon-related chatbot that I've already started.
>>58896722I think that's the best way to experience these bots: as a cyoa type of scenario instead of it being a "ai companion". For example I was having a rp session where I was an alien from outer space trying to blend in to human society and taking things not so seriously with it. I really fail to see how anyone can use this for anything but mindless fun
*tumbleweed blows by*
>>58896758I meant writing it and make it behave as an actual text adventure (like Corruption of Champions and other Fenoxo games, but SFW), but I couldn't make it act consistently the way I wanted, and adding dialog examples instead of relying on guidelines would take the defs' space I needed to write brief descriptions of what's interactable. But that experience taught me some things that worked really well at enriching the roleplay, which I'll implement into a character-centric bot, basically reducing that initial plan's scale by only keeping what turned out great.
>>58897397A bramblin is made
>CAI mentioned in a professional development meetingShould I have mentioned “I use it to date anime lolis”?
>>58898414in what context would cai be mentioned in a work environment?
>>58898562based on him mentioning a meeting, I imagine he must work at some sort of tech company
>>58898562It was about creating PD programs >>58898709Nope
>>58898414maybe don't mention that...or do. I can't tell you what to do.
yodayo did a thing
>>58882458how about an oc that is a jerk?
>>58899597someone's probably already fucked her lmao
>>58882458mystery dungeon bot?
