The sheer hatred Game Freak holds for Volcanion specifically is something to behold. It'd be almost comedy if it were limited to the Gen VI Mythicals + Darkrai, instead of being the sole exception in Mythicals: The Game; at that point, it's just cruel that they went out of their way to do this.

What's crazy is that Volcanion actually had ties to Lumiose specifically by way of the Lumiose Press reporter that found it back in XY.ZA was literally the best opportunity there would ever be to expand on Volcanion's lore and actively chose to do less than nothing with it.
