Explain to me why new pokemon sucks without sounding like a hate grifter
>>58899809>"hate grifter"You need to go back
>>58899825Go back where? Notice how hate grifters never explain where they want us to go back to. It's almost like all of them are invading our spaces with their hate grifting and then projecting their invasion on to us like those retarded Mexicans that voted for trump
>>58899829Because everyone reading >>58899825's post knows where you sbould go back to if they've lurked long enough. In other works, lurk moar, newfag.
>>58899829Schizophrenia-kun...
>>58899809Because they simply don't care anymore, the games have less content than ever, there's no attention to how the game look, runs or plays. Why does Legends ZA have a complete black room for a mythical? Why does SV runs at 15 fps, with no level design? Why did they remove even a stable like the Battle Tower? See Mt. Coronet or Hoenn Route 120, and then see Galar Mine. Why they removed content like GTS to put behind an external app, where despite the price they didn't fix it so it's basically useless as the vast majority of them is like Rare Pokemon for impossible Pokemon. Pokémon was never truly good like other JRPGs, but it wasn't this bad either
>>58899809>Grifter You can immediately tell whos a tourist or redditor when they use this buzzword.
>>58899887>Why they removed content like GTS to put behind an external appDevil's advocate, probably to only maintain 1 GTS that can also be mutli-gen. Have you seen Gen 7's GTS after its limelight before the 3DS shutdown?>where despite the price they didn't fix it so it's basically useless as the vast majority of them is like Rare Pokemon for impossible PokemonStill? Inexcusable.
>>58899829>immediately brings up mexicans and trumperinoLol go back
>>58899809It doesn't. It's objectively better than it was during the era /vp/ considers the "peak," just by virtue of not being lazy gen 3 romhacks like the DS games were.
>>58899829Politics out of NOWHERE
Sure, let's just focus on the main two Switch titles for nowSS's main problem is just that it's a bad JRPG while being designed as a JRPG. The three major components of the gameplay loop; combat, exploration, and story sequences, leave a lot to be desired and there's very little interesting going on with any of them. While the DLC remedies this somewhat you're paying 90 bucks for a mediocre JRPG with some okay shit on the side, if you really wanted that just play Platinum because you can emulate that easily. On the other hand, SV is a bad JRPG that isn't really trying to be a JRPG. The unfortunate thing about open world design is that it doesn't work with the progression of an RPG leveling system very well. If you either stumble upon more or less the level order of events or switch out your Pokemon a ton it might be fine sometimes, but the actual result is most of the time you'll end up in a situation you're way underleveled for to the point you can't deal with it or overleveled to the point where it's simply not fun anymore.Basically, SS sucks because it's bad, SV sucks because it was designed wrong. If you want an example of what Pokemon should have been at this point, the Xenoblade titles are a solid place to look. They're far from perfect but a lot of the fundamental design is solid and unfortunately Pokemon hasn't had that for a while now.
>>58899809They are gay like you.
>>58899809They're target audience is the current generation.
>>58899959>probably to only maintain 1 GTS that can also be mutli-genThere is nothing stopping them from adding that to the games. It doesn't need to be a separate app.
>>58900060>just by virtue of not being lazy gen 3 romhacks like the DS games were.they use an all new 2.5d engine
>>58899829>brings up unrelated politicsYup I was right with my first impression. You need to go back
>>58899825
>>58899809The formula is repetitive, and the difficulty keeps decreasing. They're constantly trying to make their games for a wider audience, which I understand commercially, but I don't understand why they don't create a separate line or simply allow players to modify the difficulty level.A simple example: the main Mario games are made for casual players, while the Mario Maker series was created for those seeking a greater challenge. Currently, many fans have created their own versions of Pokémon using FRLG and RS as a base. TPC could have used this concept and created an RPG Maker game with a retro style, giving the franchise a fresh approach.
>>58901441I doubt they will ever do a Pokemon Maker. Too much goes into making an RPG. Champions is their attempt to give players difficulty.
>>58901441I didn't understand where the argument that the difficulty is decreasing comes from, the games have never been difficult. All of the main Mario games have secrets that casual players will only figure out by using a guide or watching a video. And there's no way that anyone would want to develop and maintain an rpg maker, especially since one already exists and is established in the market. Your post doesn't make sense
>>58901485The games have never been difficult, but they've gotten even easier with time.
>>58899809>Dexit>Mechanics being introduced, dropped and introduced to drive hype, rather than do like Gen 7 and use them together.>Games are poorly optimized and very buggy on release.>They keep forcing competitive but make getting a lot of competitive mons a chore, so either you "cheat" or waste money.>A single game's full experience is too costly, between the game's price, internet and possible DLC's you could be looking at 100-150 bucks or more meanwhile on portables between the first game and the possible "enchanced" edition it could get a best 90 bucks.>Game's are getting emptier, once you finish the main story all you get at most is to fill the dex, some useless side quests and a 1-2 hour shitty post-game story, if you're lucky you might get a Battle Tower clone but that's it, those things are shoved into DLC content now.>Story remain stupid and intrusive and yet they still can't make a skip button or give the ability to speed up the cutscenes.>Game costs peanuts to make while racking Millions/Billions yet they can't even bother to improve their games to AA level.
>>58899887>anymore
The games aren't made well, I don't really know how you can possibly think otherwise. Focus has shifted to the fucking abysmally designed and written human "characters" while the rest of the game has taken a backseat, and it shows.Gamefreak has never cared, but the tech they were working with was low enough that they could get away with it, now they can't.
>>58899829From the hole your kin came, don't know where and don't care
>>58901553Yeah, they never cared after gen 1
>>58899809Because most Pokémon games are objectively bad, and you didn't play the new ones as a child so there's no nostalgia.
>>58899809>fortnite>rocket league>among usListen up guys, a toddler is speaking.
>>58899809>fortnite>minecraft>among us>both diamond and pearl remakesExplain to me why your taste sucks without sounding mad.
>>58899809no battle tower (as of gen 9)dexitclothing options have gotten worse (as of pla)no pss or equivalentno pal pad or equivalentno gts (in the games themselves)and a bunch of subjective issues I have
>>58903355>no pal pad or equivalentYou already have a friends list on the console.
>>58903373and you can’t see people that you played with for the pokémon games on switch, nor can you invite friends to play pokémon using only nintendo services (switch and nintendo phone apps)anybody who has used switch pokémon’s connectivity features knows how bare boned they are compared to the 3ds and ds online
>>58899809The games started catering to people who just want instant gratification and to blitz through the campaign with overleveled mons that don't even have a single non-damage move, rather than actually trying to create a balanced RPG experience that forces you to enage with its mechanics.
