We've seen Game Freak's entire plan until 2030, and the only thing remotely close is a Pokemon game set in all of Japan that vaguely sounds like an MMO and if that's the case will probably have the at-launch scope reduced to just Kanto and maybe Johto if you're lucky before using the rest for expansions (because we all know that the initial plan is way too fucking ambitious, even if the actual game is just a regular multiplayer title). We have the fucking Pikachu model they're using for Gen 10 that's supposed to release this year that hasn't been revealed yet. I suggest you start accepting that concept now, rather than ignore it, think you're safe, then start squealing like a queer with her nuts shot off, because they "blindsided" you and pulled out a remake, to fit within the release map, allowing Game Freak to skip a year of development, but still allow both Nintendo and the franchise to profit off an associated game release period.

Unless they cancel something like Legends Johto again (of which the only one that's remotely on the chopping block is Project Seed because that's super ambitious and has nothing even remotely started including mentioning a target system) or they delay something like Legends Arceus and decide they're fine with cannibalizing the sales with a rushed project they explicitly didn't want to do again they've got the release schedule packed until then.
