Illumination and The Pokémon Company are expected to announce an animated Pokémon movie with a planned 2028 release date, either this Sunday or on the 27th, according to what I’ve been told. The film, much like the Mario movies, will blend elements from different Pokémon games with an original story aimed at general audiences.
