Imagine it having some ridiculous trade evolution. It evolves after being traded for each of the other colours, shiny needs all seven and doesn't count otherwise. When traded it gets a medal like "blue trade" etc so you can keep track of what is has already. Just the shielded form but bigger, doesn't break into a colour. Shiny looks the same just has the shiny effect. Now has a unique version of sturdy so when it gets to KOd from anything other than 1hp it always activates. Even when it uses explosion. If you heal it from 1hp the ability will trigger again. Massive stat redistribution so it has massive def/spdef and basically no atk/spatk. Gets power trick and baton pass. Making it hold shell bell or similar will make the ability trigger again without healing from another source.
