I completed all the sets easily but once they introduced trading it became the only way to complete sets. I even had 2 accounts which helped when it got harder but it wasn't enough. The reason I stopped playing, and I suspect the same is true for many other, is that it just stopped being fun. The medal events were fun for a casual game, ranked is only fun for a small number of players and very time consuming. I think most people realize they could do literally anything else and have more fun. The game just became a drag because of the bad pulls and ranked.

I just got bored of it, I played for awhile but eventually it just gets repetitive and I couldn't bother to keep doing the same thing every single day. and when you fall behind for a couple weeks, it saps motivation to get back into it because you're never going to catch up all the packs and hourglasses that you missed out and will forever have a hole in your collection. so I just gave up on it. still, I played it daily for like a year straight. that's more than I give most games.
