If GF has stuck to what's in the leaks, then the only things worth following the official reveals for is the region map art (for me specifically due to the map art tickling my 'tism something fierce) and the new mons.Because they fell for the open world meme again, I hope they'll actually allow for non-linear progression for the gyms at the very least, sick of seeing grass gyms forced into the first half of the game constantly and I want to get the fucking fairies done away with first. I understand the leaks say you don't have to do everything to beat the game unless you want the true ending, which would sort of indicate progress is significantly more open but I don't trust GF to not do what they did in SV and make it so you can approach any task in any order, but still have a set intended order.

>>58908631It was more for my personal preference in terms of what's worth following anyway, but I'm expecting the quality of the mechanics in action to be nowhere near the potential of the concept. If it runs well and doesn't look as bad as SV (high bar, I know), I'll still probably play it. Kind of sucks that piracy is impossible right now and the main guy behind the switch hacking scene has been pussywhipped into retirement.
