Why did az stop being immortal?
>>58912828He was never said to be immortal
>>58912848What about volo why is he immortal
>>58912828bad writing, typical of kalass
>>58912857he’s not.
>>58912828So they never have to write him again.
>>58912848Xerneas's powers, as well as one of the two functions of Ultimate Weapon, are to grant eternal life. However, in Z-A, they decided to add that this wasn't possible for humans. It's worth noting that immortal doesn't mean invincible. It means that an immortal being can be killed by disease, another living being, a natural disaster, or an accident. Immortal beings simply have the characteristic of not dying of old age; it's like keeping their cells perpetually young.>>58912857Volo is not immortal. He appears to belong to a race/people with a lifespan far exceeding that of other humans. He can therefore age and die like any other living being; we simply don't know the average lifespan of this people.
>>58912906Xerneas's powers should still work. The ultimate weapon is a sham if your not a Pokemon.
>>58912926Not really, I didn't specify that in my long message to make it shorter. But apparently, the explanation given in Z-A is that the human body has its limits despite the powers of Ultimate Weapon, which explains why AZ could only live for 3,000 years, while Floette is supposedly immortal.
>>58912857He belongs to Arceus's chosen people
>>58912926Human cope
>>58912906It's possible it just multiplies the lifespan of all things by a certain value. Floette is still youthful because USUM confirmed the species naturally lives multiple centuries anyway.
