>college dropout who made it in a humor / smut small time dev named Gamefreak
>studio is based on a former CP studio that got busted
>did coke in the 1990s, alongside with old money Ishihara, who to this day never worked a day in his life
>Iwata called him the 'laziest motherfucker he had ever met' and despised him
>outmaneuvered Iwata and Tajiri, took over the Pokémon IP, and disgusted Tajiri so much that to this day, he refuses to touch Pokémon with a ten-foot pole
>at one point had so much dirt on the studio they made the music composer the game director
>botched three releases in a row, had Iwata come in to save two of them at the last minute
>"disappeared" during the release of R/S because he thought the release was going to be a disaster, either drug overdose or booked a trip to the USA with a wallet full of money to flee the country
>hired a literal patsy yes-man whose probation officer was a friend to Masuda, turned him into Ohmori, who had to kiss Masuda's feet or go back to jail
>Gamefreak enters the Tyranny of King Masuda era, where the Teraleak revealed that he picked favorites and kept unecessary people around him, Gamefreak becomes a black box studio where money comes in but no one knows where it is spent, Masuda is worshipped like a god and outright refuses to have other Nintendo devs assist them
>eventually artist director Ken Sugimori had a shouting match with Masuda during X/Y development, tries to have him fired
>Masuda outmaneuvers him and is 'demoted upwards', getting a lifetime job at TPC where he does nothing besides phoning in a theme park and doing patent protection
>still gives Ohmori directorship, then phones in BDSP as a last 'fuck you' to Sugimori and refuses to disassociate with the Pokémon brand, appearing in all promotions
