Wooloo is just a classic case of flavour of the gen. Toxtricity is another. Most gen 9 mons will end up the same way.
Wooloo and Lechonk are prime examples of how much shilling actually brainwashes the average Pokemon fan. They were everywhere just because they were the first mons marketed and got attached to for early hype season memes but as soon as the games actually come out they're instantly dropped as marketing leaves them behind.Your favourite mon could be one of the series' most popular if TPCi shoved it in people's faces. It could also be one of the least popular if they cast it aside and pretended it didn't exist while making its in-game availability non-existent. You are at the whim of the higher-ups.
