>>58923396Since the personality is getting overwritten, it comes down to which characters are in the most unique circumstances. So Silver, N, Gladion (I think? I never made it far enough into Ultra Sun but I think being the big bad's kid is probably a big deal), Marnie, and Penny are choices you can work with. The ones with the least potential are the ones who are essentially just the PCs. The difference between becoming Protagonist!Brendan and Rival!Brendan is nothing. The only thing I can think for them is always being one step behind the real protagonists, either by circumstances or by magical means.I don't really have a least favorite rival, unfortunately. I guess any of the ones that are so friendly they don't feel like rivals, like Hau and Bianca? Maybe someone with a tough personality gets shoved into them and the world has to react to Hau being a huge asshole all the sudden.
