Did you favorite game/generation of Pokemon ever change throughout life?
>>58923449yes
>>58923451c-can i hear what it was?
>>58923449Yes, it was Gen I when it was the only one, and then it wasn't.
>>58923449used to love Gen 5 the most for the moving sprites, the music, and cool setpieces like the bridges and the gymsnow I kind of like Gen 4 more, it has a more laid-back, moody vibe that I appreciate more with age, and having Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh all in one gen makes it feel like a really good microcosm for the whole series.
>>58923456HGSS and then it became Emerald. It was something like GS -> HGSS -> Emerald.
>>58923449R/B to Crystal to Emerald as they came out, then Crystal, then R/B. I'm regressing.
>>58923449No. If anything I’ve come to appreciate it more
yep. As a child it was gen3. Emerald was my fav game. Just in general having so many games in that gen with different stuff to do make it feel great and real, like we were getting closer to something. PMD blue was peak.Replaying it as an adult Ive become kind of a genwunner. PMD was still more fun, but from the mainline games I appreciate gen1 more now.
