The top image in the OP would be an insult to art styles if it was referred to as such.
For starters the texture tiling is atrociously repetitive especially on rocky surfaces. And everything regarding landscaping is so artificially jagged to the point they appear fake and just "there". The lack of anisotropic filtering (or any form of texture filtering for that matter) doesn't help either.
