>>58927068Pretty much just Steven, Wallace, and Juan.Emerald but with Wallace for gym 8, and Steven for champ, would be perfect.Besides a second late game water specialist being sad and annoying as fuck, Wallace fucks the type balance of the overall league and makes it too easy to cover too much stuff on single mons, while Steven has a more diverse team to begin with, that compliments the other four very nicely. Champion Wallace is bad enough that it's enough to make Emerald only worth it if you actually intend to play the battle frontier. Though, I would also say, the Magma Hideout, while cool, kicks the pacing of the game's final section in the nuts. They should have removed the Aqua hideout section entirely, since you fight a million Team Aqua in the undersea cavern anyways. That's a less egregious issue though..
