You cannot even boast your gmax catches because the form doesn't display anywhere outside of your catch screen and a COMPLETED max battle spot... sometimes. And assuming that whatever viewer also completed the same max spot.
Max battles are a failed feature and frankly it's astounding how out of place it feels with the rest of the game. And to top it off, gmax shit cannot be sent Home unless they're kanto trash bound for LGPE (and lose gmax factor in the process)

you mean a matchmaking fuckup because this update is being dripfed across regions and a raid fuckup because this definitely needed to be dropped during the kalos week and the servers needed to be destabilized even more. they left it out in the site notice that this was due for early-mid feb and they had to delay it and are now hiding that info behind a non archived ingame notice that this is comically late. obviously theyve downsized the maintainence crew because the fuckups are consistent. theyre more consistent about maintaining their competitive sport garbage that washes their name internationally than the actual running of the project which makes sense when the new owners are saudi.

nobody likes that the go rocket battles require a consistent connection or it will cut your battle short and if that spills over into every battle because battles continue even when the opponent disconnects and obviously "dated devices" are not going to handle the massive resync, that just means they give up on reconnections entirely. at first this looked to be antispoofer but who are we kidding they have never done anything about spoofers. charmander used smokescreen and shit looks fucked until seen in action and there was no need for the lack of transparency if it wasn't. fuck you its february.

Handbreaded qrd summary of the combat side cuz apparently its more important than the damaging effects it'll have on kalos tour (imagine forced updates inbetween raids forcing you to find good wifi fanfuckingtastic. ok rant period over)
>Damage during battles will be calculated at the end of 0.5s ticks instead of being polled variably based on connection
>Submitted charged attacks will resolve on the next tick and with after a fast attack instead of immediate
>Switching will be prioritized and the incoming will eat fast attack damage followed by charged attack damage. Normal switching will incur a tick penalty making you eat the fast attack while forced switching after faint will not incur a tick penalty
>Battles will continue as normal on an opponent disconnect instead of stalling
What this means:

It is now superstrict, with the benefit of not letting wonky connections slide in a fast attack and the demerit of potential massive desync and input lag experience.
