Legends ZA hinted at new balls happening in Gen 10. The Ball section in the museum had NPC's wonder if anyone will make more ball types and another NPC acknowledged Balltism.

Being able to customise the battle entrance animation of the Pokémon being sent out of their ball was so interesting and fun.
