So? Strong trainers and great music. Most other final routes were even straighter and used generic music.
>>
>>58934386
Thematically it's probably the best
>>
>>58934373
Better than Sinnoh's at least
>>
>>58934386
but it is followed by maybe one of the best victory roads in the series
>>
>>58934484
Indeed. Then immediately in tbe next game we get the first Victory Road that isn't just a big cave. It had forests and a river area.

true
not sure what that statement has to do with this thread though

It's not even the best final route in a Gen 5 title. Route 26 and 27 would probably have been considered a single route in games where routes can be shapes other than long rectangles and Route 26 alone is better as a gauntlet. About the only thing that's exceptional about Route 10 is that it's about the only time Shota Kageyama has composed and/or arranged anything good and damn did he knock it out of the park. That having been said, final routes in Pokemon games are kinda dogshit. Hoenn and Sinnoh are just water, Route 23 is interesting in ways that aren't the gameplay unfortunately, Kalos' feels like a mid-game route with zero build up, Alola gets borderline experimental at the end game, Galar's is just dogshit and has less going on than Unova's similarly numbered final route, and Paldea is just borderline experimental in general leading into the true endgame of Area Zero.

Farewell is also pretty damn good, especially the arrangement from Super Music Collection. So having two good songs in a soundtrack is better than his average of basically nothing since then. I don't want to be that guy glazing Gen 5's music overall (only Hitomi Sato and only as much as her similar contributions in Gen 7), but it seems like even his low standards got dragged up by the game somehow.
