man, ive always been able to cook up off meta decks and atleast be able to go 50/50 on ranked. Nowadays it just feels impossible, i have no idea how to consistently counter 130 damage turn 2 on hydreigon, and altaria is right around the corner setting up doing similar damage. I really don’t understand how broken types keep getting stronger meanwhile fighting steel and dragon are always in such a bad spot.

Combine that with your choice of primary attacker. Skarmory Ex gives you another -20 damager per turn same with Steelex both also work with Jasmine for another -100 damage. Or you could use the Solgaleo line which auto resets your cards into the correct active slot (teleport and rising road, respectively) Even something like Ageislash line gives you either the +30/+60 damage on steel type pokemon or the -80 damage shield against EX pokemon attacks. I could give you my specific decklist but basically any combination of these cards should get you through ultra ranks

For anyone complaining about Hydrogedon any Grass type deck has been pretty strong since Quick Grow dropped and even a very basic Mega Venusaur deck has the set up to match him and 1 shot with 140 damage + poison (+sleep)Also just a simple Jingling opening can shut down the entire deck before it even gets started by blocking pokeballs and rare candys

Ivysuar is such a funny pokemon, you know how broken this card would be if altaria and hydreigon didnt exist? Ivy with a helmet on effectively has 120hp. Meaning if you cant one shot it then mega venu auto wins. The issue is we’ve powercrept so much that its relatively common for decks to do that amount of damage so early. Setting up pokemon in the active spot is mostly a dead concept, the snorlax and double indeedee decks are ok but usually have negative win rates they arent stellar.

Bookmark Crimson Blaze and start doing my daily pulls from there 3. Start assembling Team Mega Venusaur with daily shares from your main plus daily pulls 4. Clear out the lower difficulties on auto with the free Rapidash deck (with the free Arcanine added as a finisher) 5.
