>>58962623>Z with ReshiramHoly fucking cringe
>>58962650>ZI mean N. Z is just N on his side.
>>58962650N represents the truth that pokemon and people belong to two fundamentally different worlds Hilbert/Da represent the ideal that humans and pokemon can one day coexist without conflict, even if it takes awhile to get there.
>>58962766>N represents the truth that pokemon and people belong to two fundamentally different worldsWrong. Humans and Pokemon have forever been linked, N is delusional to think they're separate. He does not represent Truth at all.
>>58962787>Wrong. Humans and Pokemon have forever been linkedYet humans believe its fine to make pokemon sit on the floor and eat out of dog bowls, or harvest their energy to the point of killing them, or even eat them
>>58962816Correct. Whether two legs or four, dogs eat on the floor.
>>58962816>sit on the floor and eat out of dog bowls
I think where Masuda fucked up with the whole PETA angle is not making it more apparent that BW was meant to be a reboot of the franchises lore. The first four generations were meant to represent a utopic society, where humans and pokemon do live in harmony and there is no poverty or fighting over resources. Gen 5 onwards Masuda wanted to make a new more grounded continuity that actually explores the feasibility of a society like the one we see in pokemon. We see themes of this in later entries like gen 6 and 7 where not just villains, but entire societies run by and for civilians benefit off of the exploitation of pokemon. The Devon corporation, the international police, macro cosmos, etc. are all guilty of using pokemon as a resource instead of acknowledging them as sentient living creatures. These organizations that the general public support and benefit from provide context to N's argument.
>>58962816>sitting on the floor and eating out of dog bowlsThat's just the innate hypocrisy of human nature at play.>harvesting/eatingBlame Arceus for not creating non-Pokemon non-sentient lifeforms that can be a morally acceptable source of meat, an essential piece of many lifeforms' diets.
>>58962930>Blame Arceus for not creating non-Pokemon non-sentient lifeforms that can be a morally acceptable source of meatThey couldve easily just made everyone in the pokemon world vegan they went out of their way to introduce the concept of people eating pokemon like magikarp and slowpoke
>>58962959Problem is, veganism doesn't work either when there's multiple plant-based Pokemon. There's just no good way around this scruple unless you introduce a third type of being who exists solely to provide sustenance, or you make it so humans don't need to eat or drink anything to survive.
>>58962766>>58962787Reshiram accepted N because he was open to new truths.
>>58962975Real animals existing solved all of this but those arent allowed anymore because sensible lore is hard for a small indie company
>>58962913>The first four generations were meant to represent a utopic societygens 3 and 4 represent a utopic society, gens 2 and especially 1 reflect our world and all its issues. organized crime, unethical experimentation, gambling, urbanization, gangs, and so on.
>>58962975>Problem is, veganism doesn't work either when there's multiple plant-based Pokemon.Plant based pokemon are still treated as animals not plants. You dont see anyone watering a.victreebell or a roserade with a watering can
>>58963006>You dont see anyone watering a.victreebell or a roserade with a watering canThey absolutely do, even if it's not directly mentioned or depicted, because it would be a part of that Pokemon's specific care routine. Plant-based lifeforms need plant-based nourishment, and since we know a lot of them draw from photosynthesis, it's not unthinkable that they draw from moisturization too.
>>58963000>gens 3 and 4Not utopic. There's still enough problems in the world that Archie and Maxie became environmentalist radicals who sought the power of godlike beings to correct what they believed was a major issue, and the world fundamentally failed Cyrus so hard that he was mindbroken into wanting to commit omnicide through the literal god(s) of time/space so he could recreate the universe in his ideal image as its God and sole inhabitant.
>>58963039those are very clearly exceptional cases.and "utopic" doesn't mean nobody ever has any problems.
>>58963049A utopia should not be able to produce unhealthy mindsets and ambitions of their calibers, though. You can have everyday problems, but society and the state of the world should not be failing you to such an extreme degree.
I can't help being a terminal legfag. Love it when teens show off their smooth skinny legs in tight shorts.
>>58962623Isn't he canonically topped by his loving hiker husband?
>>58963446No, in B2W2, if you play as Rosa, the hiker can be found at the Ferris Wheel again, and he'll be lamenting that Hilbert was the catch that got away.
