Today is the last day of Gen 9 being the newest gen in the series. Soon, we will lose Koraidon, Miraidon, Ogerpon, and Terapagos as our mascots and gain new ones. Let's have a thread in their honor.

>>58964133I hated that the Raidons were the traversal method for the region, they felt so far removed from legendaries. The DLC mascots kind of make up for it, especially Ogrepon but the whole Paradox thing in the base game fell flat for me.We've probably still have a few months to wait until we see the box legends for Gen 10, unless GF really wants to blow their load for the 30th anniversary, but I hope they don't look like fucking vehicular animorphs at the very least.

>>58964133Easily my favourite legendaries of a gen, Terapagos looks worse in comparison because it gets the mysticism and "only shows up in the ending" thing from other legendaries but its whole lore and how its legend has shaped the culture of the region is pretty kino, Ogerpon is a pretty lite legendary but has charm and is my daughterfu, loved getting her masks back in Kitakami, and the raidons are THE BEST game mascots ever made by far, they are easy to understand juiced up versions of a common pokemon, doesn't feel over the top "omg the world is at stake due to its power!" bullshit, they support you all your adventure literally and metaphorically, they improve as you progress in the plot replacing HM but not with random pokemons like in BDSP/LA... they even have their own character arc and act as your pseudo-starter AND final boss at same time for fuck sake, they are so great.Even the final boss music is THEIR theme (not the enemy Raidon's theme, but your Raidon's theme), cheerful and energetic after they overcome their trauma (relating to Penny), gain strength (relating to Nemona) and defeat the professor's delirium (relating to Arven) with the leitmotif of the south province were you first meet them. And then you and your four, not three, four friends, go back home with the same notes.
