I can play games of other franchises as old as the NES but for Pokemon even something like HGSS feels outdated and slow

My similar confession is that I only started playing pokemon with Diamond when I was 10, enjoyed it but thought it was a bit boring. Years later I felt that all pokemon games were the same and a friend memed me into buying Black and it just made me hate pokemon more, because it's only new and innovating if pokemon is the only thing you played. After X I stopped playing.That's where my interaction with the actual games start and begin. I probably should've gotten hgss because the early anime was my main thing with pokemon
