Reminder that Nintendo originally thought of a Fire Emblem/Pokemon crossover, but thought Fire Emblem was too much of dead failed franchise at the time. So they did a crossover with Nobunaga's. Ambition and thus Pokemon Conquest was made.
After Awakening made Fire Emblem big, it was given to Atlus for a supposed SMT crossover. But you may know what became of that.
