Holy shit. Leaf Green's exclusives destroy Fire Red's. Outside of Growlithe and Scyther FR's list is laughable. So unless OP wants to use one of those two there isn't much choice. At least Electabuzz and Magmar are fairly equal, but Magmar makes up for Vulpix getting rocked by Growlithe.

Yeah, exclusives are the main reason to decide which one. Since you don’t have legendaries locked behind a version.
