I'm really happy that the kiddieslop guy is getting BTFO by this and FRLG having gambling in every place but the EU. I hope the next thing that happens is that TPC announces a new segmentation of the brand very specifically targeted at older fans without necessarily alienating the younger ones, something like the GameCube titles accomplished in tone and gameplay, probably a good segmentation to release remakes in as well because I doubt the kiddies will be excited about BW remakes and the relatively small amount of Gen 5 fans definitely aren't after BDSP. They could just not do that, we don't know what's on their slate after 2030 and everything has already been pushed back like a year based on Gen 10's release date vs the planned window.

Then why announcing them now? Everyone is gonna forget about them. If they trickle news for 21 months they won't have a game to release, it will be all revealed (and we also have the Tera leaks). If they are not giving anything, they will either need a new announcement in a year or so, which rends this announcement stupid, or hype will die and by the time they will release everyone will be "eh whatever...". This was a stupid move. They wanted both the pie and eat it. Have the big announcement for 30 years, but yeh fuck off it's for 2027 almost 2 years after the announcement. And it doesn't even give you a reason to get Switch2 which is expensive as fuck with the gears of Playstation 4 from the 2013 era, and will be more expensive because of ram and disc shortages. The game itself looks like Gen9 on the switch.
