What do you think the "nugen" elements will be for WW?
>>
>>58979092
SWSH already changed the artstyle, a character looking like Chairman Rose wouldn't exist in Gens 1-7.
>>
>>58979266
I see what you're trying to say but you chose such a tame design. The only unfitting about Rose for gens 1-7 is his earring and maybe that he's brown.
>>
>>58979266
SWSH is totally what I'd imagine a natural progression of Pokemon's artstyle to be. I can see the jump from SM>SWSH. The characters having flashier designs doesn't change that. SWSH>SV was just a massive jump in artstyle.

TRVTH NVKE. Zoomies here are unaware that SWSH introduced the dual hair, 10+ color pallete and Finn's the human proportions slop

You're smoking crack if you think these wouldnt work in a older pokemon game.
These niggas would look right at home in Hoenn.

>Kalos

These designs work in older games, they look right at home in the battle frontier. The stylization of the whole region to look less 'anime' like SWSH or SM is the bigger difference.

Yeah, that's what post-game in Pokemon generally has been when they've actually bothered to put one in a first version. Look at GS for another example. Or half of that in DP's case. Even SM attempted to do it somewhat poorly (that's more on SM's map design and development issues more than anything, with some small issues inherited from XY).
Compare that to RS and XY's fucking nothing (although I will say, XY did include the character from the previous games showing up to clap at them, they just picked a shitty way to include them when they had to cut the new Team Flare base from Southern Kalos).
>>
>>58980576
>Yeah, that's what post-game in Pokemon generally has been
No, postgame in Pokemon generally has been challenging battle facilities with dozens if not hundreds of hours of replayability.

No one claims Emerald has "no postgame" just because it didn't retardedly have NPCs standing in front of routes who conveniently disappear after the credits.
>>
>>58980517
Because of you being a retard, you damned all Pokemon games to have no post-game because PVP slop doesn't count either
>>
>>58980598
>No, postgame in Pokemon generally has been challenging battle facilities with dozens if not hundreds of hours of replayability.
Not in first versions, which is what the thread is largely about. But if you're only talking about B2W2 you've got a couple of those spread over the game, like Black Tower/White Treehollow and Pokestar Studios. It's not like XY where there's no challenge and like two teams for every facility on offer.
>No one claims Emerald has "no postgame" just because it didn't retardedly have NPCs standing in front of routes who conveniently disappear after the credits.
But it does, in the Safari Zone and Desert Underpass. Plus the Battle Frontier itself is unlocked similarly to the northern island in DP (that is to say, you go to a large area after the credits). Like if XY actually had Southern Kalos instead of a kinda slap-dash single area that honestly might have less going on than RS's post-game unlocks in it's entirety we'd be having a different conversation right now.

The leaks said something about 'weather moves' will be the gimmick.

>This thread literally has a schizo claiming BW1 has "extensive postgame".
Again, by Pokemon standards it does. People do love the GS post-game. I happen to be a person.
>No there isn't. There's one challenging battle facility and then casualized filler with no replayability.
Pokestar Studios adds on to Battle Sims by actually making puzzle battles replayable so that's unarguably a step up.
>And XY does, in Kiloude City, and ORAS does, in the Battle Resort. I guess that means they have extensive postgame now.
Yeah, and they don't have the Battle Frontier or any of the things that come with it. It also doesn't have what DP or BW provide.
>Congrats, you discovered the problem with gen 5's postgame
If you don't consider routes, dungeons, and legendary Pokemon to be something going on, sure. But depending on how strict you are you end up only considering battle facilities as the entire game, where XY is just worse B2W2 because at least Doubles are fine in B2W2 compared to the complete lack of challenge in XY (BW is fine unless you really go out of your way to get True Ant which is possible but was easier in B2W2 when Dream World was still up). And if you only don't consider some of the lazier "just in a room" legendary Pokemon in B2W2 to be valuable XY must be dire because the three optional ones are different flavors of it, Mewtwo being the most nothing, Zygarde being better if they picked a time they wanted you to visit Terminus Cave AND catch it instead of trying to have it both ways, and the birds being all the worst parts of roaming legendaries without any of the parts anyone could remotely consider fun. Like tell me the Friend Safari has more going on than the shitty minigame to transfer Pokemon. Even the fucking war crime that is Black City/White Forest in BW are at least an idea of a location that they put in the game and you could theoretically find enjoyment out of. Abyssal Ruins is at least a puzzle. What does XY have?
>>
hoen tards pretending they aren't nugen again
>>
>>58979092
I don't think I've ever heard someone sounding even remotely like the SWSH fan in this image.

>>58979720
XY has less handholding than BW1. It's about on par with BW2.
>>
>>58979092
C and y hold your hand way more than sm though. You literally get a gift pokemon every other town and then at the end of the game you get a second kalos starter because heckin trading is so gosh darn hard
