It's amazing how good so many fans are at coming up with cool designs. I know that Game Freak employees have to work within a ton of constraints that most of us don't consider when they're creating official Pokemon, but I think a lot of fans would genuinely out do them if they ever had the same opportunity to design an official Pokemon.

One potential angle people are missing when coming up with these is the whole scooter towing traversal system that will be a big part of the game. I think it would be fair to expect each starter to tie into a specific type of traversal (e.g. land, water, air, perhaps there's other terrain scenarios but idk the details).So while we should expect anthro fagmons like usual, perhaps pokemon that look more suited to traversal would make more sense for this game.
