I'm on the fence about a Q1 2027 release, but that window would still allow it to come out near the end of the 30th anniversary and give some post-holiday game pickups. Plus all of the 2026 anniversary games were things we've already known about.

There is no way in hell Nintendo's allowing GF to release the first true Switch 2 Pokémon game 2.5 years into the Switch 2's life cycle. It'd be catastrophic for the console

Previous games were announced in Feb and then released November.A few extra months on top of that makes sense. A whole extra 12 months doesn't - they already showed so much of the world/engine/characters/etc.If it was a shitty CG trailer or nothingburger announcement I would agree Q4 2027. But it wasn't.

>>58983062This is my thinking. Legends Arceus revealed on Pokémon Day 2021 and launched in late January 2022, and the initial trailer showed off a bunch of in-engine footage. Meanwhile Z-A was announced on PD 2024 and was a glorified teaser with no game footage or assets shown off, then didn’t come out until November 2025. This looks much more like the former, I'd bet good money it's early 2027, maybe even the first few months
