Fire/Ground is another option, but in a Water filled region I doubt they would go for it. Gecqua is either Water/Poison or Water/Psychic. Alternatively, Grass/Steel, Fire/Fairy and Water/Poison could work, but so far nothing suggest 'steely' for Browth. Maybe the second evo will show a hint.
