Why it was skipped over Gale of Darkness for the NSO? That makes no sense unless...there is a full remake of it coming. But seriously, is extremely strange that they are skipping Colosseum, also remember GF doesn't have absolute power over the Orre games because they didn't make them so is not them screwing it.
they thought it be fun
Colosseum will care off casuals.
Colosseum is just XD but worse
>>58987296Wes is too based and scare them, the dude is...>A full adult.>Starts a part of EVIL group>He LITERALLY commits terrorist acts when he decides to abandon the evil group.>He is effectively stealing pokemon regarless of reasons and unlike the kid from XD it doesn't get a "we are doing this for the greater good" explanation in your face.Wes is too much for what TPC sees for an appropriate "Pokemon MC".
>>58987296Too hard for the modern audience. There are already newfags struggling with FRLG. Miror B and Dakim will make them cry.
>>58987303>>58987332Gale of Darkness is also too hard for the "current audience".
>>58987296They already announced Colosseum is coming in the original Gamecube classics trailer. Why they did GoD first is odd though.
I can only guess, but maybe their thought process was that Shadow Lugia makes it more marketable.>want more of it? here's Colosseum
>>58987351They need to censor colosseum.
>>58987351Personally I’d wager that since Jirachi is only obtainable in Gen 3 through Coliseum’s bonus disc that if they want the games to completable they need to give a separate release from the NSO. Though if I recall right they also had an alternate way of getting Jirachi through an early online event, but why pass up the chance to sell you another game?
>>58987296They already showed it off for the gamecube games so I assume xd was either easier to emulate and/or they need some time to made small modifications like they did with fr/lg. Like once you beat the game they add a way to get jirachi/celebi without the bonus discs.Or maybe it's just the age old classic of companies being dumb... who cares?
>>58987447>It stops being Shadow Lugia if you do as intended.Weird mascot decision-making.
One issue could be that since there's no way to catch an unlimited amount of Pokemon or breed the Pokemon you have, it's possible to cuck yourself out of the level brackets for the battle mode. This wasn't a problem in the original since you could just trade from your GBA games, but it'd be a problem on NSO if it can't connect to anything.other than that, idk lol
>>58987338GoD Campaign is pretty easy honestlyThe Orre Colosseum is harder, but most players will not attempt that anyways.
>>58987296They very often release games out of order.
>>58987323>Starts a part of EVIL groupRemember when everyone thought the PLA Mc would end up working for team galactic lmao
>>58988024That shit pissed me off so much as a kid I bought the game for shadow lugia let me keep shadow lugia goddammit
>>58988024>>58988252it's also a shitmon even compared to other shadow pokemonall those cool OP shadow moves and they gave it the shadow equivalents of screech and defog
>>58987338No Gale of Darkness is one of those games you can sweep with your starter plus maybe one other.Dumb kid me had no issues beating it using nothing but Espeon and Ursaring.
>>58988311You can also sweep Colo with just one Pokemon
We'll know eventually.I don't buy the whole waiting to make Jirachi event transferrable but I'd love to be wrong. I mean Jirachi wasn't even in Colosseum, only on the bonus disc which most people did not own.I think it's marketing, XD is just cooler with a dark lugia, it also has the better single player experience. So they can release the "bad" one later.
>>58987296what the fuck does XD even stand for?Xtra Darkness?
>>58988479It stands for Disney XD
>>58988479I shit you not eXtra Dimensionhttps://web.archive.org/web/20050821080405/http://www.nintendo.com/cpp/login/offSiteGetProfile.do?rDirect=http://www.pokemon-games.com/portal/portal.jsp
>>58988497I thought that was Metroid Prime 2.
>>58988497Was this ever mentioned anywhere in game?
>>58988236Technically you did, your worked for its centuries old predecessor.
They need more time to figure out how to fix the item dupe glitch. Can't have players catching every shadow with a Master Ball once you get it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcXz5-Qb33I>>58987296Is XD easier? That might be a reason why. Can't think of much else aside from maybe Shadow Lugia being more eye-catching.
>>58988529Not from what I can remember, mostly in promotional material
>>58987296this game is too stressful for collection autists
>>58988770Yeah it's quite a bit easier in several ways; the largest being it having mostly single-battles contrasting Coliseum having all double-battles.
>>58988855That's wrong. Only the tutorial is single battles until you get shadow tediursa. It's all double battles after that.
COLOSSEUM RENAKE NOW CHECK SEREBII REAL
>>58987296I know why, they want to release it as its own thing like FRLG so that people buy it in order to complete the dex.
>>58987296They know it's far more popular than XD so they are saving it for last.
So this can't actually communicate with the Firered/Leafgreen rereleases? Seems weird.
>>58987296They are releasing it with RSE because of the bonus discsTrust the plan
>>58987296NSO is fucking weird. Mario Sunshine still isn't on it despite the app itself using the coin sound effect from that game when you turn it on. My guess is the marketing department thought Shadow Lugia would leave a much bigger impression for the Presents and generate more hype.Maybe they would Colosseum as its own game to cover all the bases XD would be redundant for. Like if you could connect Colosseum to Home, then the gen III National Dex suddenly becomes a lot easier. Would also give a legitimate way to get the Orre exclusive ribbons again.>>58987954They added the scene with Oak giving you the tickets in FRLG. They could have Steven hand you a Jirachi in RSE. And then you miss your chance forever because you didn't have a spare slot in your party.
>>58988497"Pokemon: Gale of Darkness" alone would've been way better, what weird branding.
>>58989600It was cool in 2005.
