LITERALLY

>>

>>
>>58993163
People actually struggle with NPC's?
>>
>>58993163
Just use razor leaf on your ivysaur
>>
Decades of easy games have turned the average pokemon gaymer into a mindless button masher
>>
I remember Oddish literally destroying Misty.
>>
>>58993163
I beat her with 1 mon, primeape can two shot it if you don't get confused and taught it mega punch.
I tried as just mankey but it kept getting out sped and deleted.
>>
Just be thankful it's not gen 1, bubblebeam+that speed made it crit all the time.
>>
>>58993205
>primeape
>needing to be level 28 to beat misty
>>
>>58993212
water pulse hurts like a motherfucker
mankey might have been able to do it if two mega kicks connected in a row but you're either confused by water pulse or you just miss and die
>>
>>58993163
your wartortle? use bite

I wonder what those common Oddish/Bellsprout encounters around Cerulean are for? Back when the games encouraged you to learn the type chart and teambuild

Just use thunder shock with the Pikachu you caught in Viridian Forest.
>>
>>58993163
It should only take like 2 or 3 Horn Attacks.
Or a Poison Sting and several Potions.

You're really stupid OP, use the moon stone you found at the mt. Moon to evolve nidorino, you can thank can later
>>
>>58993187
I did the same thing in Red, but Water Pulse adds the chance of Confusion so it may not be so simple

Never played LGPE but that seems ridiculous for a second gym
>>
>>58993743
Scald in the 2nd gym is crazy
>>
>>58993943
>>58993945
Oh I thought LGPE was a baby game that wasn't hard at all but now people are crying about the 2nd gym being hard?
>>

Reminder that LGPE won't let you enter the gym unless you have super effective type mons on your team
>>
>>58993953
I mean given they're shocked it's there and nobody has complained about it maybe the systems of Let's Go make even that potentially difficult thing absolutely trivial. Pikachu alone would help with that. It's like how only Yawnfag noticed the IVs and EVs on trainers in BDSP when everyone else didn't because the forced affection and EXP share made it irrelevant.

>>58993886
>Evolving your nidorino early
Enjoying having no moves
>>
>>58993953
>>58994016
The trainers are without a doubt harder. The issue is people spend way too much time grinding and catching shit, inadvertently overleveling their team. I intentionally didn't do any of that shit until I was forced to for Koga and almost lost a couple times
>>
>>58994053
Sabrina forces you to bring in a level 50 Pokemon too. You can catch the Zapdos and not use it, but the restriction shouldn't have been there in the first place.
>>
>>58993998
Someone please tell me that he's trolling / this is just a joke
>>
>>58993886
Great idea anon, add ground type to a pokémon that you will use in the water gym
>>
>>58993998
And your level is at least >5 than the gym leader's strongest pokémon, don't forget that!
>>
>>58994668
I never played so I looked it up. Seems like most gyms have a requirement to enter. Some are cool like having 50 pokemon in your dex or a cute pokemon and some are lame like have a super effective pokemon or meet a level requirement. Only Sabrina requires pokemon higher leveled than her own (45, her team is 43 and 44).
>>
>>58993163
Just use your moonstone faggot
>>
>>58994042
you're gonna pump it with TMs anyway
>>
>>58994668
No, Misty won't let you in unless you have a Pokemon that's level 15 or higher.

>>58994016
>>58994053
Let's Go 100% is harder than people think. Nuzlocking the game is nigh impossible, even though you can literally choose the Pokemon you want on every single route, because without catching there's only JUST enough exp to go around to make it to the endgame if you don't fuck up even a single time (remember, no trainer rematches whatsoever, so if you want to grind, you have to catch more Pokemon, which isn't allowed in a Nuzlocke). The problem (and what makes all of this irrelevant) is that it's super easy to get overleveled thanks to the catching mechanics, and catching not being tied to battling, and there's NOTHING stopping you from doing so.
