That's cool. If Whiscash has anything in it's cap, it's the fact it's frequently underestimated.Still, I feel like it needs something to make it really stand out. It gets some unexpected moves like Future Sight, Dragon Dance, and Spark. But it's stats and abilities are all pretty mild.

Whiscash needs a little love from Game Freak, no? Buff Anticipation to just straight up reveal your opponent's moves. Or give it a signature move. Something to help this mon stand out.
Ōnamazu, the creature Whiscash is based on.It's Water/Ground because it lives at the bottom of bodies of water or in underground caverns, thrashing in the mud and causing earthquakes.It gets the ability Anticipation and the move Future Sight because sightings of thrashing catfish were said to presage earthquakes.Other than a reference from Wikipedia of one being depicted as a dragon, I don't know why it gets Dragon Dance. Maybe it just shares a lot of traits with them generally.

So apparently earthquakes used to be attributed to dragons up until the 19th century, when catfish instead became associated with the natural disaster.Also, fun fact, Onamazu was associated with wealth and prosperity by working class people, since the aftermath of a destructive quake would open up lots of work for construction workers and other professions. So in this pic you can see workers beating the Onamazu, trying to provoke it. Or maybe beating it like a pinata hoping for a windfall.

If I were to give Whiscash a modest stat boost, I think I would put 10 point or 20 points into HP to give it a stat that lets it stand out from the other Water/Ground types.
