Considering it's been a few days since FRLG released on the Switches, i thought it would be a nice idea to start a thread about all our playthroughs, so here goes:I'm currently at Cerulean city, don't think Misty will give me too much trouble with my mons. I plan on making Spearow and Sandshrew permanent editions to my team too

If you make spearow permanent, don’t evolve him until he learns Aerial Ace at 26 because he can’t relearn it as Fearow

>>59005862>>59005888For Kangaskhan, Tauros, Dratini and Chansey you really want to throw a bait and then throw balls, due to how the formula works throwing bait actually increases the chances of catching Chansey when compared to an unbaited one + it makes them way less likely to run away.

>>59005128I'm pulling up on Zapdos' crib after having caught Articuno last night. It's been a long time since I caught a legendary with a catch rate of 3 and I was not prepared for the ordeal it turned out to be. Even with two sleepers and 37 Ultra Balls it took me seven resets, each time because I ran out of balls.The single use TM situation is causing me quite a bit of strife. I don't like having to choose between giving my story mon an upgrade or saving it for a potential later mon. Exeggutor is feeling it the worst because his only damaging move is Confusion. I'd like to give him Giga Drain and Psychic but what if I want to use those on someone else? I know the mail dupe glitch exists and I do have the Mr. Mime and Farfetch'd, but I'm not at One Island yet to easily grind them up.
>>59010475I went Giga Drain (+3 PP Ups)/ Psychic / Leech Seed / Stun Spore on my exeggutor. it's so incredibly hard to kill, but I think keeping confusion would have been a fine choice as well. you could also just give it the much less valuable Bullet Seed TM.
