Is it wrong for humans and Pokemon to be in a romantic relationship with one another?
>>59006411Yes
>>59006411Rape Alolan Ninetales
>>59006411No, for a while the boundaries between both was unclear
>>59006411Pokemon can’t consent, doofus.btw, lust isn’t love.
>>59006421>>59006417
>>59006411No, Pokemon are very intelligent creatures, but TPC are too cowardly to address the implications.
>>59006413FPBP. There is nothing in the franchise that definitively shows it wants human X Pokémon romance to be seen as a positive thing.>>59006421But this is not the reason. All Pokémon have human-level cognition.>>59006438>but TPC too cowardly to address the implications.I wouldn’t say they're cowardly exactly. They most likely just don't think it's a good fit for the franchise. There's other safe-for-kids franchises that do have outright canon human X non-human romance.
>>59006438a supposed 4-digit IQ beast is easily entertained with feather toys and begs for pet treatsyour fantasy will forever be an irrelevant delusion
>>59006463>All Pokémon have human-level cognition. No, they don’t. Latios and Latias apparently can understand human speech due to their immense psychic powers, which means every other pokemon straight up can’t comprehend what humans are even saying.
>>59006475Speech is not the only way to understand another species. You can't understand what your dog and cat are saying but you can still understand what they feel and want just fine.
>>59006488stop trying to justify your zoophilia, dawg.if neither of you can communicate properly, neither of you can consent, it’s that simple.
>>59006411Latias best girl.>>59006421A Latias or Latios could consent just fine.
>>59006417Rape Klearkhos
>>59006505assuming they’d even consent to a fat creepy social reject like you
>>59006513I would improve for Latias
Not when they shipped the anime series' long-term protagonist with one, then sealed the whole effort by bringing her back for the epilogue to his journey and teased their reunion.
>>59006466And you act like real world humans aren't impressed with human flavoured feather toys.
>>59006475>which means every other pokemon straight up can’t comprehend what humans are even sayingthey're shown following complex commands/directions that extend beyond moves though.
>>59006665You can teach a parrot to differentiate between items, colors, material. You can teach dogs how to go through hoops and obstacles. You can teach a rat to identify unexploded mines. You can even teach some pets how to use those button soundboards that they press to say they want to play, or a treat, or quiet time to sleep.Despite all of that, the are all unable to consent, and pokemon are literally just fantasy animals and act as their stand-ins. Your headcanon is irrelevant.
>>59006717tldr I'm gonna fuck Alolan Ninetales
>>59006717The problem with that is pokémon have been shown directly conversing with humans in-game, the canonical mimicmon can in fact disguise as humans and interfere in any particular person's life and they have been shown, despite speaking an language unintelligible by most humans (but also shown to be able to be learned or understood by some in cases) to have higher intelligence, complex thought and personalities more akin to humans than any animal in this real world can match, even the smartest, most intelligent chimp, dog or dolphin. Which is the point, it's supposed to be a fantasy series, with magical fantasy creatures that are also at once the equivalent of humans in intelligence and emotional capability so kids can imagine them as real monsters (even shudo-era Gen 1 OS had pikachu act decidedly UNLIKE a rodent found in a forest and like a mini human).
>>59006411>>59006653Considering how popular this particular Latias is, are her fans attracted to her dragon form, her human form, or both?
