People were way too critical of Sun & Moon. Whether you liked it or not, it had a lot of effort put into it, and was a fully 3D brand new Pokemon game. It only cost $20 more than the Firered & Leafgreen cashgrab today. People bend over backwards now to defend their slop in a trough now. They say shit like you're poor if you're not dumb enough to fall for it. The people saying this in all likelihood do not own a 3DS and Pokemon Sun & Moon like I do. I can transfer Pokemon to Home from romhacks that are superior, and free. One has to wonder what happened to make people's standards drop all the way through the floor by now. Whether you like Sun & Moon or not, it at least wasn't a cashgrab for the lowest common denominator. It was a whole new game, and only $40.
I will give Sun/Moon credit for one thing: they finally convinced me to stop giving money to Gamefreak.
