Given we didn't get Alolan starter leaks until June, we can extrapolate TPCi doesn't get hands on any art until may/June.However, this cycle is not normal, there's every chance it doesn't release until next November, so asking about past precedent is foolhardy, when we haven't been given a hard release date (SM's release date was revealed May 10th, the Alolan starters loeaked here on June 4th). Best guess is a month/5 weeks after release date reveal. But don't bet the house on it, we didn't get a proper starter leak for SS until the guidebook leak.

>>59016901The problem is that people hacked into GF's database and have literally everything that was on any of their computers in 2024.There's no way in HELL the starters (and most gen 10 designs) weren't finished by then with piles of reference art in the database.Leakers are just holding out so they can dripfeed later for twitter followers or whatever the fuck.Even though the Switch 2 is currently unhackable so we cant expect datamines 2 weeks before release (and also fewer people will be able to play pre-release since emulation doesnt exist yet either), we're not remotely in the return of surprises and genuine unknowns. Any of the leaker's inner circle with access to all the files knows everything and just isn't saying.
