Leaf Green, 5 badges going into the 6th gym. Took a detour before Erika to catch most of my team at the Safari Zone, then leveled them up on all the trainers I skipped. Never done that before, it was fun.

Finally started HGSS Johto on my Gen 4 living dex. The thing I'm honestly dreading most is having to play through SoulSilver again just to get the other Kanto and Hoenn starters, since I'm not transferring from any of the Gen 3 games, or using the GTS.

First time playing Pure RGB. It was interesting being able to have a complete team before fighting Misty. It's not bad but I like Shin Red and Yellow Legacy more. The new moves and type changes were a mixed bag.

>>59026927Gallade is extremely worthwhile, it has an insane amount of coverage beyond just Leaf Blade (Night Slash, EQ, Rock Slide, Poison Jab, all 3 elemental punches). An electric type like Magnezone or Electivire would fit perfectly for the last slot, covering Gallade’s weakness to flying and also being able to deal with water types.
