>>59020838>Pseudo? NO it's Powerhouse PokemonI thought they were called Late Bloomers?
>>59020838In Smash Bros the official name for tilt attacks used to be "strong attacks" or "power attacks", but they changed it to tilt because they realized strong attacks is a lame name for it.
>They shouldn't be called starters because that implies you can replace them!>First partner doesn't change this implication, if anything makes it worse because first implies there will be many more and likely more important partnersCompanies can't control these rhetorics. It would be like if GF tried to change the terminology for Shinies. Internally they're referred to as Rare Color, which might make more sense than Shiny, but they made the fuckers sparkle so it's their doing
>>59021089"shiny" is just the result of shitty western marketing. In Japan the official term irochigai was used a lot everywhere, so fans knew what these things were called and had no need to make up a fan term.
>>59020838It's also Pokémon, not Pokemon. You can press control alt E to get é on PC and on smart devices hold on E to get the option for é or it may be in a separate keyboard screen. Also here on /vp/, the board name is shown at the top of each page on the board, so you can copy the é from there. And BTW. Pokémon is both singular and plural, same for every Pokémon species name. So stuff like "Pikachus" is wrong.
>>59020838>Starter? NO it's First Partn-ACK
>>59020838Shut up.
>>59020838To be fair, the term pseudo-legendary doesn’t really make sense for characters to use in-universe. Granted, powerhouse Pokemon sounds dumb.
>>59020838>Legendary Giant>5'07"
